Adobe Illustrator Pattern

I took a ruler and a sheet of paper and I just started making lines with it and made a pattern that no one else would make.The big idea was to make a pattern that I like to make on my free time and when I am trying to pass time after a test or just in general. I am not very good making straight lines even sometimes with a ruler. The cool thing was that I let the ruler take the way and makes lines where they looked good together. I am very shocked by my end product because I did my very best to make clean straight lines. I went out of my comfort zone a little when I went to pick my color combo.
