The lighting in the Silhouetted shape I put an object in front of and lamp which is in the background, turned off the lights in the classroom so the object could create a shadow. I edited all of my photos different shades of black and white. To me the effect Black and White has on photography is that it gives it a different feel than it is in every day color. My favorite image is the Point of interest because I like how the black and white filter changed from the black and gold on the cup, and I also like it because it say Fight with Iowa logo. My least favorite photo is the Symmetrical balance because it was hard to pick a b&w filter that would not hurt your eyes and or make the carpet too dark. I was surprised when I took the originals like the Iowa Hawkeye cup and bracelet how the yellow turned out when I turned it into b&w. Another positive is you can take a picture of anything and turn it into black and white and it still looks good. A result that you hadn’t expected is that when you take a picture of an glass item on a grey sulfide that when you turn it b&w you almost have to make it the neutral b&w and not that much excitement that blinds your eyes just looking at it.
