Self Portrait Linocut

First I created my composition by picking my- self portrait. Secondly I printed a copy of my photo  Thirdly I traced out my entire composition on paper in pencil. Lastly I traced it onto your lino-block. When that was done I picked out what I wanted black or white.The tools that were used are a linoleum block, a brayer, Ink, Paper, Linoleum cutters.I made different lines so it did not look all the same. What inspired me to pick the image was I am a huge Iowa Hawkeye fan and Iowa vs. Iowa State was coming up. I was just so excited and turns out me picking that image made them win! One of my goals was not to mess it up and not make it look like I did not know what I was doing. I was trying to take my time so thought I did not make a mistake. My overall thoughts were that I am totally shocked by the way that it turned out because I did not feel a whole lot confidante.
